Welcome to my website. I have been practicing what I call the ‘Art of Thin-Sectioning’ for nearly 20 years. I learned my craft while working at the University of Cambridge, in the Department of Archaeology. After many years in the Department as a member of the technical support staff, I decided to become a freelance thin-sectioner. Since 2007, I have found new colleagues and set up partnerships in Europe, and the USA . I will continue to work with the Department of Archaeology, the Department of Geography, the Department of Earth Sciences, the Scott Polar Institute, the British Antarctic Survey, and the Cambridge Archaeological Unit, within the University of Cambridge. I am now proud to offer my services to international research communities. Please take a little time to read through my details and the type of services and prices I can offer.
My
thin-section diary is now fully booked for the rest of 2010. I would be
happy to answer any enquiries for bookings from Jan 2011.
